Meet The Team

Jonathan Martin, MD
Dr. Martin, a Rhode Island native, has been practicing Internal Medicine and Primary Care with a focus on functional and integrative medicine since 2011. Raised in East Greenwich, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island, earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences and minors in Molecular Genetics and History.
He pursued his M.D. at Penn State University College of Medicine, graduating with honors in 2008. During his time there, he served as class President and was an active member of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Interest Group. His academic work centered on molecular biology and genetic medicine, with publications in The American Journal of Physiology and Endocrinological Metabolism. He continued his studies at Boston University School of Medicine where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2011.
Dr. Martin’s clinical practice emphasizes stabilizing and reversing comorbidities linked to chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension, and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease. Adopting a holistic approach, he prioritizes nutrition and physical activity, using scientific methods to minimize patients’ reliance on chronic medications while promoting biological age reversal through functional and integrative techniques.
His goal is to reduce pharmaceutical use while enhancing healthspan and lifespan, focusing on optimizing biological age and physical fitness. Outside of work, Dr. Martin enjoys time with his wife and three children, exploring New England’s natural beauty across all seasons. A fan of classic rock and motorcycles, he also values engaging in thoughtful debates and reading classic philosophy. He is active in his local Catholic Church and volunteers often at his children’s school.

Frank M D’Alessandro, MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his residency at the Yale/Waterbury primary care program in 1991. He is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine, after graduating from Boston University, cum laude in 1983.
Dr. D’Alessandro is a local Rhode Islander, growing up in Providence and a Classical High School graduate.
His clinical interests include focus on preventative health, including managing hypertension, obesity and orthopedic issues. He believes the bond and communication between the patient and provider is the key component to promoting excellent health care.
Dr. D’Alessandro’s outside interest include: skiing, hiking, bike riding and baseball.

Dr. John Chece is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for integrative, patient-centered care. Originally from Lincoln, Rhode Island, Dr. Chece earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University. He went on to receive a Master’s in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship training in Family and Osteopathic Medicine at Kent County Hospital.
Dr. Chece is certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). His clinical interests focus on optimizing health through a blend of holistic practices and conventional medicine. He emphasizes longevity medicine, incorporating natural supplements, peptide therapies, individualized exercise programs, and—most importantly—a sustainable, balanced diet.
Using a functional approach to healthcare, Dr. Chece is dedicated to identifying the root cause of illness. His goal is to reduce patients’ dependence on medications by promoting lifestyle modifications that support long-term health and wellness.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Chece enjoys spending time with his wife and three children—Maria, Patrick (PJ), and Stella. He loves gardening, weekend getaways to New Hampshire, quahogging, and relaxing at the beach. A proud Baylor University alumnus, he’s a devoted supporter of Baylor Football and Basketball.

Dr. Daniel Collins is a seasoned physician with decades of experience in primary care, pain management, and addiction medicine. Originally from Coventry, Rhode Island, Dr. Collins earned his medical degree from the National University of Ireland in 1969.
Throughout his career, Dr. Collins has been dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients dealing with chronic pain and substance use disorders. His clinical interests also extend to comprehensive primary care, where he focuses on prevention, patient education, and long-term health outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Collins is an avid collector of antique cars and enjoys exploring the history and craftsmanship of classic automobiles.

Michael J. Cobb, PA-C, is a board-certified physician associate with a focus on regenerative medicine, cosmetic procedures, and primary care. From Saunderstown, Rhode Island, Michael completed his undergraduate studies at Roger Williams University before earning his bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York.
He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is also a certified injector through the Cellular Medicine Association. Michael’s clinical interests include regenerative and cellular medicine for orthopedic and cosmetic enhancement, as well as comprehensive primary care services. He is dedicated to combining cutting-edge medical advancements with personalized patient care.
Outside of his clinical work, Michael enjoys golfing and taking on construction projects in his spare time.

Kathleen Parker (Kathy) is an experienced Family Nurse practitioner who graduated from the University of Rhode Island. She specialized in Emergency Medicine working in the ER at Rhode Island, Landmark and Kent hospitals, and assisted in the opening of several Urgent Care’s.
Realizing that Primary Care had such a void in RI, she opened her own independent Nurse Practitioner practice—A to Z Primary Care-in 2011. After 11 years she joined Village Medical, until she found her new home here at Greenwich Bay.
Kathy is also an adjunct professor at the University of RI for the Family Nurse Practitioner program and was the President of the Nurse Practitioner Council of RISNA for 10 years, helping pass legislation to pursue the independent practice of Nurse Practitioners in RI . Her passion is to continue training future practitioners, especially in Primary Care, which has such a need.
In 2017 Kathy was named the Top Nurse Practitioner in RI and was honored in The RI Monthly Magazine. She has 3 sons, 3 grandchildren, and enjoys exercising, biking, dancing and traveling.

Patricia is certified by the American Wound Care Licensing (AWCL) and is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Rhode Island. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care to adult and older adult populations, with a focus on preventative health and chronic disease management.
Outside of her clinical work, Patricia enjoys cycling, cooking, and gardening—activities that reflect her commitment to wellness and balance in daily life.

A native of Chepachet, Rhode Island, Allison began her academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New England, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University.
Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Allison is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Rhode Island and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Clinically, Allison has special interests in neurology and emergency medicine, where she brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to patient care.

He is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine (ABUCM), and is certified by the FMCSA to perform DOT physicals. He is also actively pursuing board certification in Lifestyle Medicine, with a focus on improving overall health through evidence-based lifestyle interventions such as nutrition and exercise.
A lifelong Rhode Island resident with strong ties to the South Coast of Massachusetts, Dr. Bavoux enjoys spending time with his family, strength training, and studying ancient history.
