Your Journey to Wellness

At MDRI, our mission has always been simple: deliver exceptional care that’s not only clinically excellent, but also responsive, coordinated, and focused on keeping you well—not just treating you when you’re sick.

The reality is that many of the services patients value most—timely communication, seamless coordination, proactive wellness planning, and personalized guidance—are not covered by insurance. To continue providing this higher level of support, we’ve introduced a voluntary membership program designed to enhance your overall care experience.

We offer three membership options, allowing you to choose the level of support that best fits your needs:

  • Standard Membership – A no-cost option that includes continued access to your provider for annual visits, follow-ups, and urgent care, with scheduling based on availability.
  • Enhanced Membership – Builds on the Standard level with improved access, streamlined communication, and dedicated support through our Nurse Clinical Liaison—helping you stay organized, informed, and proactive about your health.
  • Concierge Membership – Our highest level of service, including direct access to your physician, along with expanded wellness resources, coaching, and premium benefits for a more personalized, hands-on experience.

Standard Membership is available on a limited basis, as we prioritize maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness for members across all tiers.

No matter which membership you choose, our commitment remains the same: delivering thoughtful, personalized care with the attention and responsiveness you deserve—when you need it most.

MDRI offers optional membership programs that provide enhanced access, convenience, and wellness services not covered by insurance. Participation is completely voluntary. Patients may continue to receive all medically necessary covered services under their insurance plan whether or not they choose to participate. Please contact the practice with any questions.

Our Standard Membership provides continued access to the high-quality primary care services you expect from MDRI—ensuring you remain supported with a trusted medical team focused on your overall health.

Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is the MDRI Membership Program, and why was it created?

The MDRI Membership Program is designed to provide patients with additional non-covered administrative and wellness services that support a more personalized, proactive healthcare experience.

While many medical services are covered by insurance, many of the non-covered services patients value most—such as care coordination, timely communication, and medication management—are not reimbursed by insurance. The membership program helps support these enhanced services, allowing MDRI to continue providing a high level of personalized care while investing in the staff, technology, and resources needed to support our patients.

Patients may choose to participate in the MDRI Membership Program. Participation does not replace your health insurance. Insurance-covered medical services will continue to be billed to your insurance plan in accordance with your benefits.

Can I still be a patient if I choose not to join the MDRI Membership Program?

Yes. At MDRI, our mission is to provide high-quality care for all patients. Patients who choose not to participate in the MDRI Membership Program will continue to have access to medically necessary care and insurance-covered services, including annual wellness visits, follow-up appointments, sick visits, and urgent care.

MDRI offers a Standard Membership (at no cost) that allows patients to remain active within the practice, with continued access to core medical services and appointment scheduling.

Please note: Certain MDRI providers may have patient panels that are full and may not be accepting new patients. For additional information regarding provider availability, please contact your local MDRI office.

How do I enroll?

Insurance & Covered Services

Does insurance cover the membership?

No. The MDRI Membership Program is separate from your health insurance. Membership fees are for non-covered administrative and wellness services and are not reimbursable by insurance. Insurance-covered medical services will continue to be billed to your insurance plan in accordance with your benefits.

Will my insurance still be billed?

Yes. Insurance-covered medical services will continue to be billed to your health insurance in accordance with your plan benefits.

Does the MDRI Membership Program cover insurance copays, deductibles, or coinsurance?

No. The MDRI Membership Program does not cover insurance copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or any other patient financial responsibilities associated with insurance-covered medical services. Any applicable copays, deductibles, or coinsurance required by your health insurance plan will continue to apply.

What is the difference between covered services and non-covered services?

Covered services are medically necessary healthcare services that are covered by your health insurance according to your individual health plan. These services, such as office visits, diagnostic testing, and other medical care, will continue to be billed to your insurance. Any applicable copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or other patient financial responsibilities will continue to apply.

Non-covered administrative and wellness services are services that are not reimbursed by insurance. These services are included as part of the MDRI Membership Program and are designed to enhance your healthcare experience through additional administrative support, communication, care coordination, and other membership benefits.

Membership Benefits

What are the benefits of the MDRI Membership Program?

The MDRI Membership Program offers a variety of non-covered administrative and wellness services designed to enhance your healthcare experience. While benefits vary by membership tier, some of the benefits available through the program include:

  • Direct connection to MDRI Clinical Nurse Liaison for care coordination
  • Communication through the MDRI Member Dashboard – Online scheduling, member-friendly messaging, added benefits to the Athena Patient Portal

  • Coordination of optional, advanced testing
  • Coordination of health coaches, personal trainers, dietitians, and other wellness resources
  • Regenerative Medicine Savings
  • Discounted Supplements – 10% off for Enhanced Members and 20% off for Concierge Members

What is the difference between the Concierge and Enhanced Memberships?

Both the Concierge and Enhanced Memberships provide additional non-covered administrative and wellness services designed to enhance your healthcare experience. The primary difference is the services and benefits included with each membership tier. The Concierge Membership offers the most comprehensive level of service and includes additional benefits beyond those available with the Enhanced Membership, including direct non-urgent communication with your physician. Please refer to the membership comparison chart or contact your local MDRI office for assistance selecting the membership that best meets your needs.

Why do some providers only offer the Concierge Membership while others offer the Enhanced Membership?

Each MDRI provider maintains a unique mix of Standard, Enhanced, and Concierge membership panels based on their individual practice model and patient population. This approach helps ensure providers can deliver the level of personalized care and attention each patient deserves while maintaining appropriate panel sizes.

The membership options available may vary by provider. Please contact your local MDRI office if you have questions about the membership tiers offered by your provider.
